JNTU-HYD : The Evaluation of Project (Viva-Voce Exam) For

In connection with Project Viva-Voce Examinations of
M.C.A Course to be conducted in the academic year – 2012 ( for students admitted in year 2010), the Principals of all colleges offering the course are here by inform that the following procedure is to be followed for the Evaluation of Project :
1. The student is permitted to submit Project Thesis only after successful completion of Theory and Practical courses.
2. The students can submit their Project to the college after completion of the duration of the project Work. (i.e. after 02.07.2012)
3. The college should submit the list of panel of Three External Examiners (with Designation, Experience and full address with contact number) for a group of 4 or 5 students with details of i)Name ii) H.T.No & iii) Project title to this office for the approval.
4. The Statement of Seminar Marks – evaluated for 50 marks and the Project Evaluation Reports should be sent to this office after completion of Viva-Voce examination. The Proforma of the project viva-voce report is enclosed.
5. The Fee for Project Viva-Voce Exam to be collected is Rs.1500 per candidate. The amount of Rs.1000 is to be retained by the college and the remaining amount of Rs.500 should be submitted to this office along with the Panel of Examiners. The amount should be drawn on a single DD in favor of Registrar JNTU Hyderabad for all the students.
6. No Penalty will be levied to the student if a student submits Project within one year After completion of penultimate semester (i.e. within 6 months from the last semester). If the student is unable to submit the Project within one calendar year, a penalty of Rs.5000/- may be levied for first year of late submission, Rs.12,000/- may be levied during the second year of submission and Rs.18,000/- may be levied during the third year of submission to the University. If special permission is granted by the University to a student for submission of project beyond three years limit, a penalty of Rs.10, 000/- per year additionally will be levied to the student.
